We took the journey down to the Tregrehan plant fair last weekend and oh my what delights were on sale.
We decided to go with no preconceived ideas as what to buy, just thought we would wing it, after all we now have pretty much everything going
WRONGWithin minutes we had arms full which no doubt I will bore you with over the coming days/ weeks!
I will start at the top probably worth the 685 mile round trip for this plant alone.
I was just browsing Tom Hudsons stall when these bad boys started appearing on the stall I just picked the biggest one up and bought it I then had to find Jackie with the money to actually pay for it.
I had no idea anything like this plant would be up for sale Mr Hudson has been very busy with these seed grown plants a spp I have lusted over in his greenhouses for many a year!

Try googling this I bet nothing much comes up for this Aralia!
I see it comes from Dense forests in valleys; 1400-2300 m. Xizang, Yunnan [Bhutan, India (Darjeeling, Sikkim), Myanmar, Vietnam].
2300 mts who is going to be the first to try it out I volunteer Andy Martin if he can get it going near Benson where he lives we must have a chance...
