Avocado tree surviving drought.
This tree was planted from a market seed/pit,not a grafted plant, about 20+ years ago when a cottage was on this now empty lot. Now,no homes, this tree survives on rainfall alone. Native Sycamores help and hinder..the shade takes stress off the tree..but you know those Sycamore roots take all the water they can gather away from the Avocado. Still,it survives and bears fruit. This is just a young fruit, they get much larger.
I salute this survivor!
