Limonium perezii. At a gas station.
To give you an idea..just 18 miles inland at another commercial planting in Pleasanton, they were all killed in last Decembers coldest weather. So,I edge another near full zone milder by a set of coastal hills.
Bonus- the ONLY yard planting of Phoenix dactylifera in town. They are struggling to prune it I see. It might not have a long term future. I hope I'm wrong as once they get a trunk...not a massive palm, and look great.
The slight haze to the sky? Forest fire caused. Its been like that for a couple of weeks now. Fires still rage hundreds of miles away.
