Great looking rhododendron! The pachy May survive long term for you and is reliable in our climate. Keep us updated on their progress. I am very interested in hearing which big leaf performs best and which big leaf shows cold damage first.

Tim - will report progress. Plan to utilize frost cloth for the 6 new planted ones as frequently as necessary.

You’ll likely need some lights under the frost cloth too so temps don’t drop below 5F.

New Plant
Four Rhododendrons received from the Rhododendron Species Botanical Garden on 4/13/18. All except protistum will be planted in the ground. Protistum not hardy here.
