Re: How are your temps looking
All of it! It's not a place I knew much about and all the insights were interesting, not only the images, but the stories about the construction and landscaping industries and the culture generally.
I'll have a look at your blog later, thanks.

Re: How are your temps looking
David...the blog was never meant as a serious horticultural record, more as a picture postcard site for friends and family to see the place.
Having said that, I've just gone back to the Things That Grow post and added about 20 more plant pics that may interest you more...

Re: How are your temps looking
We are having sunny mild spring weather with temps up to 15°C in the forecast. Nice! I'd say we are heading for spring now, by mid February we are usually through the worst. There will surely be some night frosts to come, but that won't be dramatic. So far we got -5°C as Tmin, a fairly normal winter overall. About one week of snow, but not a single ice day.

Hi Steven, so you see how great the differences are in terms of temperature on such a small distance between our cities! We did have two ice days on January Sat. 7-1 and Wen. 18-1 , and our lowest min. -8.1ºC Yes and now a small spring-like period 16ºC tomorrow! Eduard.

Re: How are your temps looking
minimum so far this winter was -2.4C so within the normal range for absolute minima here.
Today was 11.5C and felt pleasant in late sunshine. Forecast is decent enough with double figure maximas forecast for the foreseeable future.

Re: How are your temps looking
Forecast to be unusually warm here next Monday at 16C. I would really like us to have an early and prolonged spring this year, its been so long since we had one of those and my growing season has been terribly short because of the late arrival of such warmth.

Re: How are your temps looking
Spring has sprouted in the bay area. Days are in the mid to upper 60's on any day it doesn't rain. Its weeding weather if not great planting weather for small plants in wet clay. IF you have a large plant to move- this is the best time to move them. No problem digging deep into mother earth.
