Late August 2009 I bought an Xanthorrhoea glauca from Akamba nursery.
I decided to plant it spring 2010 (note the year) which I did, see pics below, not realising what would happen later that year!
Today, new pictures below, is of my favourite plant and must be close to be the most northerly grown specimen of this genus out there ...unless you know other wise?
I would be interested to hear of other experiences of this grass tree out in the wild.
Here it is today on the 12th May 2017 7 years after planting.
It is quite cool to see I now have 4 grass tree's with it sprouting around the base
