Whats interesting about this 30' palm also? It had been pruned in February of ALL it's fronds. It was a trunk with only a spear. Compare to Mexican fan and Queen palm. |

I wonder if this is A.purperae?? Or is it the lighting?..What do you think Phil? I was told this palm was planted in the late 80's...it took the 92 big freeze. I think the buildings and swimming pool fronting it helped hugely. |

Ay caramba ...its 40C here and that's a record. It might even be 42C by the time its official. Hottest June 18th ever all over the bay area. This,after June started as tepid,even a rain shower. |
