I spend a lot of time ripping out asparagus while doing volunteer work for Bushcare. A few species are weeds here, although I don't think the foxtail form is the worst. I use a serrated knife to cut away the crown. It's not usually worth pulling out the water sacs and all the roots because it causes soil erosion. |

Our total lack of summer rains stop them in their tracks Phil. So much of say-Melbourne- is Hayward like,but no fears Cyathea cooperi or Asparagus species or King palms will naturalize. Nobody to water them! |
