Cardiocrinum giganteum propagation.
My cardiocrinum giganteum flowered for the first time this year and now I have a lot of seeds. I am looking for advice how to sow them - do I need to do anything special? Keep them cold or warm, etc.

Re: Cardiocrinum giganteum propagation.
I germinated a handful a few years ago. I sowed them in moist vermiculite in a ziploc bag which I kept house warm for a few weeks before putting it in the fridge for a couple of months. Back to house warm and they germinated over a period of three or four months. I've since found out that they can take up to a couple of years to germinate so if I'd not tossed the bag I may have had more than a handful germinate.

I can concur with Keith, you need to give them the cold treatment, or they won't move.
