Vieuw of my bedroom. The flowers of the native cactus Cereus hildemannianus open at night and remain so only to 10 am

I see more insects and it´s said to be polinated by bats

I agree with Kev. Having recently moved house to one with a much smaller garden, I don't have room for the array of shrubs, trees and perennials I had amassed over the years. However, I have "got into" cacti and succulents and have bought a few columnar varieties but it would seem like a dream that I could get flowers like those! Lovely!
