Cool home in Auckland. Spotted some nice Nikau palms. Lots of Bangalows and for some reason the only large succulent plants Ive spotted are numerous Dragon Tree's. https://www.google.com/maps/@-36.889132 ... 312!8i6656

Lovely house. There are a handful of Agave attenuata on the corner there. I think Auckland must have nigh on perfect climate to grow the broadest range of plants?

On paper its nearly identical to Hayward. But,the extra rains really show what they can do easily that we cant. It also must go much longer without a freeze then the bay area. I do see one home here with a Nikau..but that's it in town. One. Los Angeles can grow a big variety, with 10f warmer winters then Auckland. Also Paul I know you know of semi tropical Mexico highlands with pines and palms and cycads..that are a warm 75-80f ( 23-27C)all year long. Not hot. South Africa,Sydney. Too bad Google car skips most of Africa and Madagascar and even southern Spain. You would think Malaga would get the photocar. Auckland would be great for me...no water restrictions like here. But Brisbane looks REALLY nice..lol..
