What a beautiful scene Kev
Tree ferns and that Waggie in the snow...really spectacular.
I have repeatedly seen 12F and once 4F around the Princeps Waggie,Manipur and Bulgarian, not looking good for some of my "larger palms" esp after this...

Very cold temps Jim..........I hope your protection is working!
We had a few snow flakes yesterday and some wind. Check out the snow drift off the roof:

Wow Jim there is some swing in temperatures you have there does any snow you have melt during the day?
The palms and ferns you have do well to survive that lot kudos to you for keeping them going for so long.
Tim love your few snowflakes that lot would shut the UK for a month....lol

Some of the snow on the streets will melt a little with the Arctic sunshine but its ice at night, not much melting today as temps hover around 11F probably -12F tonight- with the fresh inch of snow last night- then some improvement to milder temps but the damage is done. Great pic Tim!

Good luck to all you folks up north, wherever you are, and your plant collections. Personally I have no desire to ever live in a truly cold place again in my life!
