The first pic is a bit small Phil I guess they are craning in some massive palms are they viable for the area? Here in the Uk someone decided massive Phoenix dactylifera would be a cheaper option then P.canariensis.....I am gussing they are all dead now......anyone?

Look ready for a garden show or exhibit. Hence the leaning trunking Washingtonia or Livistona.

Kev, are you saying P. dactylifera are less hardy than P. caraniensis?
