Cyathea felina
Good evening. I hope to get a Cyathea cooperi crested form and a Cyathea Felina in April. Can anyone provide me with advice for growing them well please? Is the crested just like the normal cooperi?

Re: Cyathea felina
I have the two species in my garden in A Coruña. Nowadays the crested cooperi is in the garden. Full sun and windy position. For me the needs of this form are similar to the normal cooperi. My felina is in a big pot. This spring maybe could go into the soil garden. It does not seems to need any special care.

Re: Cyathea felina
I am fron northwest Spain. Tipical oceanic climate. Wet and temperate. In a normal winter the lower tempearature could be 3-4 *C in my area. The average lower tenperature is 7 *C in january-february. But each 4-5 winters we can take frost to -2*C. In this conditions i dont protect my cyatheas. Even if they are damage by a frost they can achive a good grow during spring.
