Zingiber gramineun
I asked this question on UKO before it went down and it was one of the posts that got "Lost"
On this website it states that it is "POTENTIALLY hardy throughout Zone8"
As there doesn't seem to be anyone selling it over here and I've never heard it mentioned, am I to assume that it is a no hoper planted out in British gardens ? Shame if that's the case because it's a beautiful plant.

I read you post on Monday Chris, then scoured the web for any references to this being grown or sold in the UK. Not a sausage.
I'd love to get my hands on it. Lets hope someone like J.Amand or The Pot and Grass co will import some rhizomes next year.

I've taken another look at the first link. I only saw the inflorescence last night: I didn't scroll down to see the foliage and form. I can see the attraction now.
