Dasylirion flowering.
Hi
Quick question if I may
Do Dasylirion Glaucophyllum die after they have flowered?? My largish double headed one has 2 flower spikes starting to make a move.
Thanks
John.

The splice
I actually did some splicing of my plants today, the original plant had sprouted a dozen pups during the past 4 years. I eventually planted the individualized plants along my southwestern garage area.

Be prepared for your plant to look like pants for a few years - they are very slow to recover from flowering in our cool climate. I had one of the blue ones flower last year and there is still no sign of the new bud appearing anywhere!
John - any chance of a picture? the names are very often wrong and the 'glaucophyllum' imported from Italy/Spain is mostly a silvery blue form of berlandieri.
