Nematanthus..
I'm not sure of the exact species..so I'm going generic. These are common as house plants but bay area gardeners should know these thrive as outdoor plants..baskets or if your dedicated on tree's. They can bloom all year, prefer the milder temps and some sun. This one I have had for years and years..I finally just put it in a new basket, with new soil. I could see new grow buds all over it breaking out from the sunlight it now gets with removal of the Ivy tree and dead Sheffy. The only other one I had was 'black gold'..and I also had that for years before the 1992 freeze took it out. I miss that one..it was a very heavy bloomer, really attracted the Hummers. 2007's cold was just brushed off by this one.
