Caryota Himalaya
This palm was planted as a small seedling 8 years ago. It has reached nine meters in that time. It is not fussy about growing conditions and has never been fertilized. A Caryota Urens of the same height is in the background. It is a slimmer palm. i obtained the seed of the Urens in a park in Townsville, Australia, the resulting seedling remained in a small pot for many years. but took off once I planted it out.
