Re: Amorphophallus konjac
Kev that is a real brute of a plant when in flower - sort of in your face big time! We had one appear in the border of a village house near here (Almadena) some years ago and it reappeared for a couple of years then that was it. Pic here shows it in full thrust. Is it a konjac or some other Amorphophallus? It could have come from Brazil as quite a few people emigrated here - now with Brazil's economy vs Portugal's they are rushing back!
Do you know where I can get some konjac bulbs in the UK? (Family coming over in a couple of weeks, although what customs will make of them is anyone's guess ' are these plants for recreational purposes madam?')

Re: Amorphophallus konjac
Kristen, Amorphophallus rivieri is an old name for A. konjac. Anglia are a decent company, but don't always get the names quite right
