Impatiens omeiana - Seed set?
I guess that Impatiens omeiana is pretty widely grown these days, certainly seems that way in the UK. But has anyone ever noticed their plant setting seed?
My plants flower every year, and yet I have never noticed a seed pod, unlike on other Impatiens species. The clumps are dead easy to propagate - simply divide up and replant, making sure they are kept well watered, but I'd be interested in producing some seed. I realise that I could always take cuttings.
So, has anyone had theirs produce seed?
Sorry for the slightly out of focus photo - my cheap point and shoot camera can't handle todays gloomy lighting...
