Well, it would work if I had a PC. I'm using a Mac laptop, and can't right-click. Does anyone know how to get to "Properties" without being able to right-click?

Hi Michael

isn't it something like a shift click on a mac to do a right click?

If I control-click, then select "open in new window", I get a url with .jpg on the end- let's try that:

I've generally found flickr reliable and very easy to use. Heres a gratuitous shot of Overbecks Garden in South Devon taken last summer, just to check everyting is working OK.

I've managed to do a web link embedding of something but the pic was too large.
Any suggestions :?
Normally I just acquire pictures on the computer, resize etc. and do an upload as per UKO.

Don - hard to help without more specific information. Which photo-hosting site and account did you embed from, and how large was your photograph?

Petr has been working like mad behind the scenes looking at various options. The best he could find was Postimage, which most of you will remember from the UK Oasis boards. It's now up and running.

When you're posting a new message, click on 'Add image to post' (a link just under the text-entry box, to the left). A pop-up will appear. Click on 'browse' to locate the picture on your computer, then 'upload it'.

Here's what you get:

Well, obviously, you only get this if you have a photo of my garden on your PC. But you get the idea!

Thanks, Petr!

Yes, many thanks to Petr for setting this facility up.

I looked at that photograph and thought - that's never Dave's garden, in Wood Green, is it ?? But on closer inspection, it is. Highly impressed Dave. Is that you have trailing on your retaining wall? And if so, how hardy do you find it? I had two forms of it on my bromeliad & succulent bank in Whakatane.

Peter.
