I need help on how to resize my photos to upload onto the forum as some are too large .I am not that computer literate so I need them to be simple instructions. Thanks |

Hello Dicky, and welcome to our board. Your orchid photo is beautiful. Photo re-sizing can either be performed by a graphics program on your computer, or automatically when you upload to certain photo-hosting websites. Instructions for doing it will vary according to which software you have, or which image-hosting website you use. Are you using a Windows or an Apple computer, and do you know if you have any image editing programs on it? Peter. |

Another point - when you reduce the size of an image, you generally lose some sharpness, so sharpening may help. PhotoShop Elements 6 gives you fine control over the sharpening parameters, but I don't remember whichever older version that I got in 2000 giving the same level of control. |
