Wild daffodils
Past weekend we made a hiking tour to the wild daffodils (Narcissus pseudonarcissus) in the area.
N. pseudonarcissus is much smaller than the commonly cultivated forms, it is distinct by its two tone flowers and the narrow and long protruding corona.
Along the creek, there were some nice old specimen of Daphne mezereum still in flower.
The nearby town of Monschau
