Post Cold end of Feb
We are in for a cold spell from the end of this week and into next.

Met Office has forecast mins of -4*C where I live

I think it will get much lower than that unfortunately.

The Met Office has said that there is some uncertainty as to how things will turn out next week.
Am hoping this is scare mongering in the press. "The Beast from the East" sells more newspapers than "a cold end to winter".

It's still evolving. This is a good link to check forecast temperatures. It's not scaremongering although I agree papers like to print labels to boost sales. This is likely to be the coldest and most widespread cold of our winter and possibly for quite a few years. Let's hope the Extreme cold stays away.
