We have had only one dry day this week ,which was on Tuesday, every other day has been like a monsoon with very high humidity and quite windy, on the plus side the temps have not been too bad, 18c-20c ,it has even been 17c-18c at night. |

And as usual, we have had very little rain all week in the Southeast, just a few light showers overnight - I'm even watering Abutilon and Epimedium, not only the usual thirsty buggers like Brugmansia. |

You are lucky to have a fairly dry climate in the South East, but i suppose that it all depends on how you look at it. |

It seems London is situated in a rainshadow area. Well that is what I see in my Atlas here. In the Low countries instead we had the wettest summer in a hundred years. According to the me-doffice. And colder and much less sun then an average summer. Really a summer to forget. Alexander |

Warm and very dry in the Pacific Northwest. Here on south eastern Vancouver Island, there's been a steady dose of sun and temps very comfortable 24°C to 29°C (75°F to 85°F). Cheers, Barrie. |

I've been in France this past week so i have missed most of the gales and rain that hit the North West last week, however my garden has not. Usual plants are damaged, Bananas and Dahlias. |

This must be the coldest wettest start to June that i can remember since 1976. Sunday was +8 with an East gale & rain, Monday was quite good,Tuesday Wednesday, Thursday & Friday were just none stop rain, with temps around 14c. On the plus side we did not get the high winds that the South of the country saw. |
