Jade plant renovation.
This big old Jade of mine reacted to the shade of the now gone Wigandia...by flopping over. Well,it has lasted so long the plant adapted, stiffened. Today I started to right this wrong. Cleaned around the poor guy the Vinca major,Aloe ciliarus and Tecomaria capensis that were smothering it. I got it to brace somewhat up-rite. I think like a Bonsai artist or chiropractor,I can slowly once a week or so..get it further upright working the brace more and more. As common as Jade is? A very large one is still a sight to behold. Check the trunk on this. btw,It also has a very large low branch that I left out of the pic. So,that pretty much doubles the mass of this thing as it faces the other direction.
