Parajubaea Growth over 36-months
Hi there Here is a pic from 3-years ago vs today at the trunk growth rate of my Parajubaea Palm. What do you think ?

I think changing to black socks has obviously done wonders for the growth rate. Must absorb more heat.

You have a better climate for it then Los Angeles. As long as no fluke cold dips into the -8C or so. They come from cool wet climates. Cloudy. Here,they do best in Oakland at the Palmetum. It was genius to plant a grove of them 30 years ago. I got to make a update trip.

Thanks to your socks and weather the growth is fantastic for me. Mine only put 2 to 3 palms a year. Jubaea grows by far faster here mine 25 year old Jubaea is about 3,5 m of clean trunc.

From August. A few have been planted as street palms. For here? Thats rare.
Its cool,cloudy today. Ok if I post some more out of the same August album? Majesties.
A few Brahea's
King-Bangalow palms.
Datepalms.
Bizmarckia.
The ONLY Foxtail- Wodyetia I have seen in the bay area. Its been underwatered- but has trunk.
