On the edge of an idea...
One thing that might be a good addition to the 'edge, would be to have a few select citys around the globe and their day's weather forecast. It might give the regulars an idea of what a Torquay summer or winter is like..same for Portugal or Auckland and Sydney.Toto and his far north, and far mild weather city too. He's growing Aloe dichotoma where i thought it was freezing cold in winter...

Not a bad idea at all Stan. You can get current-weather-conditions graphic thingies to embed in your web page, Wunderground comes to mind. Not sure whereabout they would best go though..

I think I'll create a new forum, just for weather monitoring, to put these in.

cool and dry here
We had almost one week of over 30ºc here in July. My plants were really watered and took off then. The rest of the summer was crappy but it hasn´t been that windy in the morning and we have been to the beach most every day. I agree that this is the coolest summer I have known here. On the bright side most palms are still growing but the lychee and longan only seem to grow by 30+ºc daytime and 20+ºc night time temps.

Hey nuno,
I always forget to take pictures. Why don´t you just come over? When are you going to be in Aveiro/Vagos again?
