Re: My garden in Hungary
Hi, Laszlo. That is enormous amount of work ! Great garden! I really like your wild informal style and Japanese touch. How do you protect your tender exotics, like Dicksonia and other tree ferns during winter months? P.S. Did you buy Conniorgamme intermedia succesfully (Conniogramme japonica should be as well hardy in your country)? I can also reccomend you to find Plagiogyria matsumurana (Japan, Russian far east), it is actually trunkless treefern close to Cyathea family (hardy to zone 4-5), very beautiful. With best wishes Roman

Hi, Roman! Thank you very much! The Dicksonia and other sensitive plants in winter blanket. There are different ways running on them. The infrafilmel such as bananas. Unfortunately, the coniogramme ruined by postal package. Completely rotted away. But I have since gained more from Taiwan. I was in Taiwan and collected. You can purchase space in the Plagiogyria Matsumura. I'm interested in the very hardy ferns.

Wow Laszlo you are truly growing on the edge that is an enormous amount of work. Do you manage to construct this winter protection yourself it makes me realise that just putting some straw in the crown of my tree ferns is way easier. ....nice work that man! We have temperatures of 16c day 14c night next week how are you looking?

Yes, it's a great job in the fall and spring. But I like to do, for me it's a hobby of mine. I often envy the island of you out there that a lot milder. There was -4 degrees early yesterday evening.

Re: My garden in Hungary
Hi Laszlo! Very serious constructions for overwintering of tender exotics, excellent job! I think it was Araucaria araucana in kind of greenhouse like construction, I am sure this nice tree is fully hardy in your climate and does not require any insulation or winter protection in Hungary. My friends which have garden near Moscow have been growing Araucaria araucana without ANY protection from the seeds for three years!!!, now their Araucarias are a bit higher the snow cover! With best wishes!

Re: My garden in Hungary
Hi! When I planted a few years ago in Araucaria, there was no roof above it. But then they came the palm trees and the roof had to be. Then it stayed here. Now it is in the wrong place, so I plan to spring the transposition of the other garden. There is already a small free-planted. I do not know that I planted this prickly pine tree?

Hello!
Who they were planted, but unfortunately the worms ate constantly. But if you will again, would you again. But now I just want to keep pots. Maybe you can even sell it to me?

Re: My garden in Hungary
Hi laszlo beautiful autumn pictures, unfortunately only for a short time I see you have a very large winter storage, and beautiful palms, what about heating costs in the winter with you? the winters in Hungary are also very cold! The last two years it is relatively warm here, but hold my breath when they talk about a horror winter, fortunately speculative Gr. Eduard.
